Concentration of CO2 in the Atmosphere

Calling All Cycling Enthusiasts: 350.org

For all you cycling enthusiasts out there.

We hope that you’ll join the 350 Team for Climate Ride, an epic bicycle adventure from New York to Washington, D.C. this May 13-15. By joining the team, you’ll be raising money for 350.org’s ongoing work to build a grassroots climate movement.

You’re probably thinking: this sounds cool, but there’s no way I have the time (or the quads) to raise money, get in shape, and then bike over 300 miles down the East Coast. Maybe I’ll just stay home and sit this one out.

But, let’s face it: this year, sitting it out isn’t an option. Because you know the Koch Brothers aren’t sitting it out. They’re preparing to dump even more money into electing dirty politicians. The US Chamber of Commerce isn’t sitting it out. Right now, they’re spending millions to gut the Clean Air Act.

And most importantly, people from Wisconsin to Egypt aren’t sitting it out. They’re pouring their heart and soul into fights that have demonstrated that the power of the people can be stronger than the people in power.

Now’s a time to step up and give it our all. Riding your bike isn’t going to save the world, but it’s a really good start.
