Free tire round up at all CSWD Drop-Off Centers

CSWD charges a fee to accept tires year-round at all Drop-Off Centers. Twice a year we hold free round-ups and welcome Chittenden County residents to bring them in at no charge.

Free Tire Round-Up
WHEN: Saturday, April 20, from 8 am to 3:30 pm (April 19 & 20 at the Williston Drop-Off Center only)

WHERE: All CSWD Drop-Off Centers (Burlington, Essex, Hinesburg, Milton, Richmond, South Burlington, Williston). Residents are welcome to use any Drop-Off Center all year ’round, regardless of what town they live in.

WE ACCEPT: Up to 4 car, van, or light truck tires at all Drop-Off Centers, and up to 8 at the Williston Drop-Off Center.


  • Tire round up is open to residents of Chittenden County only.
  • Maximum rim size: 19.5″
  • Tires on rims: $1 fee each.
  • Additional tires are $2.75 – $5.25 each
  • The Williston Drop-Off Center will accept up to 8 tires (additional tires are $2.25 – $3.75 each; $1 fee for tires on rims).
